Mandor

mandor: named for the type locality which is located close to Mandor, West Kalimantan province, Indonesia.

These bettas have a black base body with red bars on opercular cheeks, females will often have gold bars but this is NOT a good indicator of sex. Fully grown adult males have longer anal fins and caudal fins when compared to females. They are very similar to Foerschi except for larger robust body and finnage.
